About the File conversion tools
These tools are for the moments when you need to hand in or share a document as a PDF, or pull a single page out of a PDF as a picture. Sensitive files, such as a photo of an ID card or a contract, are converted inside your browser and are not uploaded to a server.
Which tool should I use?
- Images to PDF: Use it to combine several photos of receipts or scanned papers into one PDF for submission.
- PDF to Images: Pick it when you want one page of a PDF as an image for a slide or a chat message.
- Word to PDF: Use it when a CV or report written in Word has to be sent as a PDF.
- Excel to PDF: Use it to turn a spreadsheet into a printable PDF and fit a wide table to the width of one page.
- PowerPoint to PDF: Pick it to share a slide deck as a PDF with one slide per page.
Before you start
The document converters read only the newer formats: docx, xlsx and pptx. Save an older doc, xls or ppt file in the newer format in the original program first. Fonts, complex tables and shapes may look different from the original, and documents are saved as PDF by choosing "Save as PDF" in your browser's print dialog. Check page breaks and tables in the preview before you send the file.
