About the Games & groups tools
These tools settle the usual group questions: who goes first, how to split into teams, and who wins the draw. They work well at a team dinner, in a class, at a club or with friends. Each one is designed to be shown on a single screen, so put a phone in the middle of the table or share it on a meeting room display.
Which tool should I use?
- Team Splitter: Use it when people need to be divided evenly into a number of teams.
- Random Order Picker: Pick it to give everyone a turn number at once, for presentations or chores.
- Random Name Picker: Use it to draw a few winners from a group, for a prize or a forfeit, with a rock-paper-scissors show.
- Wheel Spinner: Good for choosing one item rather than a person, such as a menu or a forfeit, especially when items need different odds.
- Ladder Game (Amidakuji): Use it when you want the fun of matching people to results and revealing them one by one.
- Dice Roller: Roll it in place of real dice for board games or number games.
Before you start
Once you enter a list of names, you can reuse it in the wheel, team splitter, order picker and random name picker. For a draw with a prize or money at stake, run it where everyone can see and take a screenshot of the result. Every press picks a new result, so a past result cannot be recreated exactly.
